The old school 2D are fine, but I vastly prefer speed in a 3D environment. Treasure hunting, cars, robots, chaos, etc, are ok I guess, but racing through a level as fast as possible and getting as many rings along the way? 1000x better. Oh, and I liked the music. "I am the egg man..."
